Day 3 can be summarized in one word: Energy.
The Cosplay competition was totally of the walls, and may I just say, EVERY ENTRY WAS OF HIGH QUALITY. J1 Studios definitely gave the last day of the convention flare, pomp, and without a doubt, circumstance. As I write this, I can no longer speak due to all the screaming, hyping, and fun we had at the contest.
When we say the show was off the HOOK, that’s exactly what we mean. If you were not there, you have no idea what you missed.
Pictures to follow.
Even outside of this particular event, the floor was absolutely buzzing this year. The other two years we attended, Sunday always felt like a “pack it up” kind of day. This year, Sunday felt like a Saturday, only with vendors ready to make deals, and people willing to double up on last minute purchases they were tempted to make on the previous two days. Allow me to stress though, shopping was NOT the only thing at this convention.
The arcade section was also a fantastic throwback to a period of time I like to call the Social Era of gaming. We spent a good amount of time in the two of our three days at the convention, and it was definitely a great feeling. The glow of the games in the dark room, the spectators, the sounds; pretty much everything that was great in that era of gaming was present.
We also managed to make a final round around the entire Indie booths, and found even more games that looked original and fantastic. All kinds of contact information was acquired, so we look forward to playing many of the demos we witnessed on the floor.

The Final Judgement
This convention is ever-evolving, and this year's show proves it. You can say all you want about TMG, but at the end of the day, you can no longer call it a simple marketplace convention.
From vendors, to live musical performances, amazing panels with guests who inspire and entertain down to gaming tournaments and cosplay competitions, as well as having the ability to look at the future titles coming out of the independent scene, it's easy to say there are plenty of reasons to come and be a part of the festivity.
Fantastic show this year. See you in 2016.
